Certifications & Carnot Institutes

- CALYM certified ISO 9001.
The CALYM Carnot institute, an international academic research and development leader in the lymphoma field, obtains the ISO 9001:2008 certification for the management and monitoring of its partnering research activities.

<h3> CALYM certified ISO 9001</h3> <p> The <a href="/en/carnot-institute/calym" target="_blank">CALYM Carnot institute</a>, an international academic research and development leader in the lymphoma field, obtains the ISO 9001:2008 certification for the management and monitoring of its partnering research activities.</p> <p> Awarded by the certification organization Euro-Quality System for a renewable period of three years, ISO 9001:2008 certification is the culmination of the quality approach implemented by the CALYM consortium as a result of its accreditation “Carnot institute” by the French Ministry of Research and Higher Education in 2011. The ISO 9001:2008 standard is based on a number of principles of quality management, including a strong customer focus, motivation and commitment from top management, a process-driven approach and continuous search for improvement.</p> <p> Obtaining the ISO 9001:2008 certification was one of the objectives of the agreement between the French National Research Agency and CALYM Carnot institute. It was achieved through strong involvement of all administrations and personnel of the institute.</p> <p> <strong><em><a href="/sites/default/files/images/CP-2014_Calym ISO 9001_VA.pdf" target="_blank">Read more</a></em></strong></p> <h3> The European Membrane Institute (IEM UMR 5635), a member of the Chimie Balard Carnot Institute, certified ISO  9001:2008</h3> <p> On July 24, 2014, the European Membrane Institute (IEM UMR 5635), a member of the<a href="/en/carnot-institute/chimiebalard" target="_blank"> Chimie Balard Carnot Institute</a>, acquired ISO 9001:2008 certification for all of its activities: research, training, service delivery and support for research. This achievement was made possible through the mobilization and active participation of the whole staff: 73 scientists and 45 PhD students and postdocs.</p> <p> The corresponding ceremony was organized at the IEM on November 14, 2014. The AFNOR Group has delivered the certification in the presence of CNRS, UM, ENSCM, Regional Delegation of Technology Transfer and Higher Education and Research Directorate of Languedoc-Roussillon.</p> <p> The chemistry research community of Montpellier is honored by this certification, which sets a milestone in the pursuit of excellent and stimulating academic collaborative research.</p> <p>  </p>
