Chimie Balard Cirimat Carnot Institute at European Utility Week in Paris

Two researchers and a business developer from the Chimie Balard Cirimat Carnot Institute will be present on stand P90 at European Utility Week. The event takes place from November 12 to 14 at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles Showgrounds in Pavillon 1, in combination with PowerGen Europe.

Novel antibiotics: DEINOVE signs an agreement with the Institut Pasteur (Pasteur MS Carnot Institute) to explore the potential of new targeted strains

DEINOVE, a French biotech company that uses a disruptive approach to develop innovative antibiotics and bio-based active ingredients for cosmetics and nutrition, has announced that it will benefit from the Institut Pasteur's provision of biological resources for the research of new antimicrobial agents from original strains. The Institut Pasteur (Pasteur MS Carnot Institute), one of the most renowned worldwide players in the area of infectious disease research, will entrust a targeted selection of strains from their bacterial collection to DEINOVE.

International Industries Forum about Innovative Bio-Based Materials

PolyNat is organizing on May 14 and 15 its International Industries Forum : 2 days of conferences where several worldwide companies present their innovations and R&D perspectives on bio-sourced materials to all PolyNat researchers.
This forum aims to build up and strenghten the links between PolyNat researchers and current or (future) industrial partners on the theme of innovative materials used for many applications (packaging, microelectronic, health, cosmectics, etc).

As part of an effort to improve the overall care of patients and the progress of research in nursing, this new area will specifically address the side effects of cancer treatments on the skin, such as skin toxicity. This partnership with BIODERMA, a leader in dermatology, marks Institut Curie's determination to provide comprehensive, adapted and innovative solutions in the care of its patients. This place is inaugurated on February 20th 2019 in the heart of the Institut Curie day hospital in Paris.
