ICT-MNT Carnot alliance

The ICT-MNT Carnot Alliance was founded in 2008 by the Carnot Institutes operating in the field of Information and Communications Technologies (ICTs) and Micro- and Nano-Technologies (MNTs). The Alliance covers all of the scientific areas within the field, mobilising research potential unparalleled at the European and global levels, in many areas (such as CMOS technology, microchip design and architecture, lower layers, communication technologies, signal processing, system security, complex systems and networks, etc.).
The ICT-MNT Carnot Alliance combines the multi-disciplinary skills of Carnot’s teams in software and hardware, forming a union vital to taking up the key technological challenges of the future, and fostering the development of a structured, coordinated response to an identified industrial demand. It is one of the foremost operational research drivers in its field.
